About the Business
MillRace IT was established in 2000 by the charity InterAct to generate income for its work by commercially recycling computer equipment. Now MillRace IT is a Social Enterprise that provides training and employment opportunities for disadvantaged people. By using our social enterprise subsidiary - MillRace IT - to recycle your IT equipment you can also help InterAct. MillRace IT shares our vision: enabling people to fulfil their potential, improve lives and communities by providing work experience for people who are overcoming barriers to employment and IT training to the wider community.
MillRace IT is a not-for-profit social enterprise with any surplus being reinvested to extend its work and/or gift-aided to InterAct. MillRace IT provides a professional, cost-effective IT recycling service for business customers, and buys and refurbishes laptops from businesses and individuals through this sell-your-laptop.co.uk website.
